ASSUAGE

"Assuage" was the second large project after "A Mile In My Shoes" that I completed in 2019, being the final assessment piece for my Media and Visual Art classes.

This short film was completed over the course of two months, consisting of approximately 500 hours of work time spent 3D modelling and animating, 2D animating, composing the musical track, tweening the frames, filming, and editing everything together to get the final product.

Assuage touches on the primary topic of creativity, and how creative people need time to express themselves through creative outlets in order to keep themselves in a stable frame of mind. It also touches on other subtopics, such as the pressure that is imposed on children by schools, the internet and the impact talking with people online can have, and escapism through the imagination.
