As well as my fist animatic, this video also doubles as a kind of sneak peak for a semi-animated series (in this style) that I hope to work on in the following years. It's nowhere close to being a thing now... but maybe in the future. Would you guys be interested in seeing it? Not gonna lie, although you probably definitely see where I got frustrated and rushed some parts, this was definitely a fun one to do. The minimal colour palette was so fun to work with, and I especially loved drawing and shading Loki. The dramatic lighting is so fun to play with! WHEW OKAY SO I thought to myself today 'you know, why don't I try my hand at art memes?? Holy GOD this took way, way too long. But I'm really happy with how the more front-on facial feature turned out! And this was one of the few things where I've tried to draw more dynamic poses which actually didn't turn out half bad! This is MAP part #9 for Jomadis' Scourge/Warrior Cats Immigrant Song MAP. Turns out that I only needed a slight extension haha, I ended up having more time than I had initially thought. I hope that this is all laid out correctly and how you wanted it! I decided to add the bit at the start with Firestar/Scourge because I thought that it might transition better from the last shot, and for me it worked better to have that talking part like Scourge was commanding his cats to go into the battle between the clans... !! Please excuse the blurriness of this video! For some reason it will not become clear no matter what I do !! So this took a while, and to be honest I'm not super happy with it. It was one of those things where you think it sounds great after listening to it first off and in the editing stage, but once I exported it and had it ready for uploading I realised that it wasn't exactly what I was hoping. //Side note: I find that this sounds better if you don't watch the video. Weird, but I don't know?? Maybe it keeps your mind more focused on the music and not everything else Anyway, the art and song remix/editing was made by me, featuring, well, Markiplier. I am planning on trying to get Mark's attention with this, but moreso because of what I want to say rather than the song and art. If Mark does see this by some miracle; thanks so much for doing what you do. I love watching your videos and every new one brings a smile to my face, like I know they do to your millions of other fans. It's amazing knowing that you're still such a kind and down-to-earth person even after all this fame you've received, and it's really just a huge pleasure to be able to see what you create. It's strange knowing that one can feel something like friendship for someone who has no idea they exist, yet that sense of companionship is still there and it makes everything so much better - if I'm feeling down I can always rely on you to make me feel better or to give me a laugh.
